At Four Kids Foundation, our mission has always been to provide love, support, and essential resources to children in need. While meals and necessities are always a top priority, sometimes the greatest gift we can give is the chance for children to simply feel like kids.
That vision came to life through an idea from our Project Coordinator, Peyton Freeman. Peyton recognized that while providing meals to the children at Lighthouse Children’s Home in Rustenburg is incredibly important, creating moments of joy and normalcy matters just as much. She launched a special project to deliver and personally serve McDonald's Happy Meals to the children at the orphanage.

The excitement was contagious from the moment the meals arrived. Smiles lit up every face as the children enjoyed opening their Happy Meals, discovering the surprises inside, and sharing laughter with one another. For many of these children, it was more than just a meal—it was an experience filled with happiness, fun, and love.
The adults who were there to serve also found the day incredibly rewarding. Sitting alongside the children, sharing stories, laughter, and a fun mealtime together created memories that will last forever. It was a reminder that even the smallest gestures can make the biggest impact.

And if you ask anyone who had the most fun, the answer would likely be our Director of Development, Billy Meador! Billy fully embraced the joy of the day, laughing, playing, and making the mealtime even more special for the children. His energy and heart brought an extra spark to an already unforgettable experience.
At Four Kids Foundation, we believe every child deserves moments of happiness and the chance to simply be a child. Thanks to Peyton’s vision and the love of our team, this special project brought smiles, laughter, and joy to the children of Lighthouse Children’s Home.
Because sometimes, making a difference isn’t just about meeting needs—it’s about creating moments they’ll never forget.
